70-365 Alberts Adventures setting the world alight:

Day 70 and Alberts puts theory into practice.

After his trip to the library yesterday, Albert spent the whole evening reading about all the tricks he could do, and then tried to memorise how to actually do them. He was amazed at the finesse and elegance of the skaters in the pictures, they made it look easy.

The next day, Albert took the skateboard back to the skate park. This time instead of imagining skating along the pavement, he was actually doing it. Sadly he was not able to pull off any of the crazy tricks he imagined the previous day as there were no logs or walls to practice on. But when he got to the skate park, the excitement to much for him.

He headed straight to the first ramp and jumped off it. Albert landed it! Then he headed for another ramp and jumped…….. he landed it again. Albert was on a roll. This time he wanted to try something a little more difficult, so he headed for another ramp, and planed the land on a metal rail and slide down.

As he went up the ramp, he saw all the other people there watching him. To took off from the top, and headed towards the pole. Albert couldn’t believe it, he was going to make it. Then unexpectedly the skateboard caught the rail and sent Albert tumbling down the stairs. Albert couldn’t believe it, he was so close. He had been on fire today and set the skate park alight!

158/365 Danbo macht ein Bild von Mini / Danbo is taking a picture of Mini:

Heute machten die Danbos ein Modelshooting. Danbo nahm meine EOS 450D und platzierte Mini vor der Kamera. Dann posierte Mini wie ein Vollzeitmodel. Sehr lustig, die Kerle zu sehen, wie sie sich benahmen, als suchten sie Danbo’s next Supermodel.

Today the Danbos made some model shoot. Danbo took my EOS 450D and placed Mini in front of the cam. Then Mini posed like a fulltime model. Really funny to see those guys acting like looking for Danbo’s next supermodel.

69-365 Alberts Adventures at the Library:

Albert tries his luck as a book worm.

After his adventures skateboarding yesterday, Albert wanted to learn more about the sport in an effort to impress fellow skaters. So he decided to pop down to his local library to see what books he could find.

Albert left the house with a spring in his step. As he walked along the path, he imagined in his mind all the tricks he could be doing along the way. He pictures himself jumping logs and doing slides along walls. Wow he was amazing in his imagination.

When he got to library, he had to pick up a book for sally as well. So he thought he better do that first, before he got too distracted in learning how to land a perfect kickflip. Albert clambered up the shelving unit, until he came to the book Sally wanted. He climbed onto of it, and pushed it out into a basked below. As he did this, he slipped into the gap left behind. Before he knew what was going on, the books were falling in on him, and he had to hold them open to stop himself getting crushed.

If only he had forgotten Sally’s book, he would not be in this predicament. His arms began to crumble under the weight of the books. He began to panic, but all he could think about was the tune of Indiana Jones! This inspired Albert to do something dramatic to save himself. He was going to have to jump for his life, and hope the books didn’t catch him.

1..2…3 Albert pushed upwards to freedom in a manner, Indiana Jones would of been proud. If only he had a hat to pull out as well, it would of been the perfect finish. Albert never thought going to the library could give you such a buzz! He never look at it in the same way again.

157/365 Die Danbos im Chaos / The Danbos in th chaos:

Als ich von Arbeit heim kam, fand ich Danbos unter meinem Schreibtisch vor. Aber nicht nur die Danbos waren dort. Eine unsere Pflanzen hatte es sich ebenfalls da gemütlich gemacht. Mini schaute, als wäre ein Außerirdischer auf die Erde gekommen. Er schaute nur in die Luft, ohne zu wissen, ob noch mehr von oben kommen würde. Aber alles war jetzt sicher.

When I came home from work I found the Danbos under my desk. And not only the Danbos were there. One of our plants was lying there, too. Mini looked as if someone from outerspace had come to the earth. He just looked up in the air not knowing if there will come more of this from above. But everything was safe now.

For an explanation of this shot, see Blipfoto. This was my 200th upload to Blipfoto and I wanted to do something to mark the occasion! Whole image is horrible though. Lighting was mince, placards were crap. Morph wouldn’t stand up properly, but here it is anyway…

and so after a long-ass wait, dearest danbo finally arrived on our shores, and I can finally jump on the danboard bandwagon.

hopefully it will inspire imagination and creativity out of me. kinda like drawing blood out of a stone.
